About the Festival
🎡 Dates & hub. The patron fair of Jubrique (Genal Valley, Málaga) runs 2–5 October 2025. Most activities gather around Plaza de Andalucía, the town’s central square and meeting point. Expect day fairs, night verbenas and family programming. 🎶 Headline events. Opening day (Thu) features a popular lunch, copla singer Rocío Guerra, and the Jubrique Flamenco Dance Group, followed by the evening pregón. Night sessions include live bands such as Latidos, Kalima and others, with the traditional late-night “toro de fuego.” Sunday closes with the beloved chestnut roast (tostón de castañas) and the Aguardiente group. 🧭 Town tips. Jubrique is a white village in the Serranía de Ronda, known for autumn chestnuts and its aguardiente tradition; it’s a good base for Genal Valley walks and Sierra Bermeja trails before or after the fair.
