1) Embrace the pain and the repetition
Your feet will hurt, you’ll redo the shot 20 times, it’ll be hot or cold. Excellence is uncomfortable: if it doesn’t hurt physically and mentally, you’re not pushing hard enough.
2) Practice every day. Start today
Publish, edit, analyze, and publish again. Consistency beats inspiration. A daily habit > a lucky break.
3) Aim for the top 0.01% or accept being average
There’s no middle ground: you’re either invited for prawns at the bar downstairs or to the Maldives on a private jet. Your work and consistency decide your seat.
4) Talent beats aesthetics
Are you attractive? Great, it helps. But you “become Eva Longoria” by creating memorable pieces. Not playing the looks card? Be your niche’s MrBeast: recognizable ideas and flawless execution… after hundreds of mediocre trials.
5) Don’t seek approval—seek friction
Surround yourself with people who tell you what you’re doing wrong. Honest feedback, the kind that stings, is your accelerator.
6) Copy to learn, adapt to win
Study the best: Nikki Beach, MrBeast, Villa Padierna. Deconstruct their formats (pacing, hook, CTAs, ambiance) and reassemble them in your language for your audience. Also analyze their pre-fame phase.
7) Elevate the everyday and create value where it doesn’t exist
Make the bar downstairs feel like Puente Romano and help an unknown kid shine like Shakira (look at Bizarrap). You add little to Dabiz Muñoz or Carl Cox at their events; to the kid from your neighborhood, you do.
8) Build a team that multiplies you
Camera, editing, scripting, sound, production, distribution. Help others and they’ll help you. Solo gets you there fast; team gets you far.
9) Explore new platforms and formats
Hitting 100k on Instagram was easy ten years ago; today it will cost you thousands of euros. Join Mastodon, Pixelfed, BeReal, Bluesky, Vero, Glass, TeVienes… and master SEO + analytics. Don’t imitate the Instagram star: build your own territory.
10) Principles first, always
Don’t monetize your kids or your privacy. Don’t show what you don’t want to show for followers. Reputation is your asset: protect it.
See you in the Maldives… Te Vienes?
