Marbellup drives local innovation: from the classroom to the award that turned TeVienes.com into Marbella’s No. 1 events platform

🩷 Marbellup, a hotbed of tech talent

The municipal initiative Marbellup, part of the Economic Development Department, offers free courses and workshops on AI and digital transformation to strengthen local businesses’ competitiveness. Its modules range from chatbots to AI-powered marketing, all available on video for alumni and taught in person at its training facility on 📌Padre Paco Ostos Street.

🎯 The turning point: Marbellup Stage

At the 1st edition of Marbellup Stage (22 May 2025), Mayor Ángeles Muñoz handed out diplomas and gave the floor to projects born in the program’s classrooms. 🩷Santiago Esteban showcased his prototype and explained how the mentoring sessions sped up his learning curve.

🩷 From project to reward

Just three weeks later, the spin-off earned an honourable mention at 🎯Startup Olé Marbella 2025 for its AI applied to events. This accolade coincided with the 📌San Bernabé Fair, where the technology helped digitise the official agenda for the first time.

🎯 TeVienes.com: leading event hub on the Costa del Sol

Propelled by that award, the project relaunched as TeVienes.com, a bilingual hub that connects 🩷creators, venues and audiences via category filters such as family, shows or sports. Today it lists hundreds of plans in and around Marbella, cementing its position as the leading platform for discovering events in Marbella. Local press coverage and partnerships with companies like TaxiSol confirm its rapid growth.
