Often overlooked by tourists rushing to the Alcazaba, the Jardines de Puerta Oscura offer a serene escape suspended above the city. Designed by the visionary Guerrero Strachan, these terraced gardens climb the southern slopes of Mount Gibralfaro, creating a vertical oasis of cypress trees, jacarandas, and vibrant bougainvillea. As you ascend the winding paths, the noise of the city fades, replaced by the sound of fountains and birds.
