Coser y contar, object theatre by Irene Maquieira

Sew and Tell is one of the proposals of The Poetry in Action within Marpoética 2026 and can be seen on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 12:00 at the Contemporary Spanish Engraving Museum in Marbella. The piece, created and performed by Irene Maquieira, is part of a cycle that combines poetry and performing arts in some of the city's most emblematic spaces. The activity requires an invitation, distributed on site the same day on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. The work is presented as an object theater built from the sewing utensils of a woman born in 1936.
