Roberto G. Currás Prelude Exhibition in Marbella

Lima Contemporánea, the space dedicated to art within Hotel Lima in Marbella, presents Preludio, the new exhibition by artist Roberto G. Currás. This show marks the twenty-seventh exhibition of the cultural project and anticipates a season marked by creativity, light, and artistic discovery. Curated by Paco Sanguino, the exhibition brings together sixteen works created in acrylic on various supports such as board, cardboard, and canvas. The pieces reveal an intense and expressive pictorial language in which emotion, gesture, and subjectivity take precedence over literal representation. One of the visual axes of the exhibition is the equestrian figures that traverse several of the works, built from decisive strokes and a suggested figuration. In these, Roberto G. Currás explores movement, energy, and the connection between reality and perception, creating images that dialogue with a universal and timeless imaginary. Preludio offers a visual experience where the viewer encounters vibrant and contemporary painting, capable of evoking emotions through color, texture, and the intensity of the stroke. The opening will take place on March 12th at 18:00 at Lima Contemporánea, within Hotel Lima in Marbella. The exhibition is part of the cultural programming of the space, dedicated to promoting contemporary art and the meeting between artists and the public.
