Flamenco & Copla: Tribute Concert in Marbella

The Asociación Amigos de la Música presents a special concert in Marbella dedicated to two great figures of Spanish music: Remedios del Río and Juan del Río. Under the title Flamenco and Copla, Two Parallel Arts, this evening pays homage to the Andalusian musical tradition with a program that combines flamenco singing, guitar, piano, percussion, and dance. The show will feature Carlos Javier Brias singing, accompanied by guitarist José Satorre, pianist José Soto, and percussionist Juanma “Canastero.” The artistic ensemble is completed with the dance of Luisa Chicano and Susana Tamarit, artistically known as Solera Chica, offering a scenic proposal that combines music and flamenco dance. The repertoire includes traditional styles such as the caña, rondeña, granaína, and media granaína dedicated to Remedios del Río, as well as tangos, alegrías, and soleá por bulería. Pieces from the popular repertoire associated with Bambino's musical legacy will also be performed, creating a dialogue between flamenco and copla. The concert will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, as part of the 2025–2026 cultural season of the Asociación Amigos de la Música. It's an opportunity to enjoy live artistic proposals that connect tradition, emotion, and talent on stage.
