Sound Friction: The Millennial Rock Experience

Yes. After Sound Friction finishes, Juan Premiere takes over the DJ booth at Premiere Club and the music continues until 6:00 am. This turns the October 30 event into a two-part night: live millennial rock first, followed by a late-night DJ session in the same venue.

Sound Friction brings exactly that mix to Premiere Club on October 30. Their live set focuses on international rock from the 90s and early 2000s, with references including Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Muse and Arctic Monkeys. The concert starts at 11:30 pm, with free entry and 18+ access.

The concept focuses on rock linked to the generation that grew up during the 1990s and early 2000s. Sound Friction builds the show around familiar alternative, grunge and indie-rock songs from that period, creating a live set based on the bands and sounds that shaped millennial rock culture.

Sound Friction is a multi-artist rock covers band, not a tribute to one specific group. Their repertoire moves across major names from 90s and 2000s rock, allowing the live show to shift between grunge, alternative rock and indie rather than recreating a single artist’s catalogue.
