About
Founded officially on 1 September 1980, the Peña Flamenca San Pedro de Alcántara began as a grassroots initiative by local aficionados and now counts 116 members under the Málaga Provincial Federation of Flamenco Clubs. Its cosy venue at Calle Caravaca s/n (above the municipal market) hosts two live flamenco galas every month (except July–August, when a beach moraga takes over) and welcomes both renowned maestros and emerging artists through club-exchange circuits. The flagship Flamenco Singing Festival, running annually since 1982, reaches its 42nd edition on 12 July 2025, starring Antonio Reyes, Anabel Valencia, Luis Perdiguero and Rubito Hijo; tickets cost €20 (€15 for members) and can be bought on-site or via +34 633 144 284. Beyond concerts, the club schedules lectures, communal meals and cultural trips, nurturing flamenco heritage and social bonds in Marbella’s western district.
