About Llanos de Purla
Llanos de Purla is one of the most popular recreational areas in the Sierra Blanca Special Area of Conservation, within Ojén, located on the plateau between Ojén and Monda with direct access from the A-355 road. It’s designed for simple outdoor leisure: pine forest shade, picnic facilities and an easy-access parking area. It offers 15 wooden picnic tables with benches (approx. 90 seated capacity), barbecue areas (8 grills in two modules), two non-drinkable water points, toilets and waste facilities. There’s also a nearby restaurant, Venta Pula. Great for a nature break near the Costa del Sol: picnic, a short walk through the pine forest, and optional nearby trails/viewpoints around Juanar.

Main Rules
Untreated water (not suitable for consumption). No motorized vehicles within the area. No camping (facilities not available). Fire: prohibited with “very high/extreme” risk and from June 1st to October 15th (including barbecues).
