Villa Deportiva Torremolinos—run by the municipal sports board—spans 120,000 m² designed for elite competition and everyday fitness on Spain’s Costa del Sol. Its centrepiece is an eight-lane MONDO athletics stadium with pole-vault lanes, javelin run-ups, discus cage, shot-put circles, changing rooms and shaded seating. Adjacent sit three full-size artificial-turf football pitches branded “El Pozuelo I-III”, each with floodlighting and grandstands. Aquatic lovers flock to the Virgen del Carmen pool complex, comprising an indoor Olympic pool, an outdoor 50 m pool, a dedicated diving tank and two therapeutic pools for rehab and Indoors, the San Miguel arena hosts basketball, volleyball, five-a-side football, a strength room and a modern climbing wall.
