A free-surfing spirit with a guitar always in hand, Felipe Madrid has been self-taught since 1995, blending the storytelling of folk with the energy of indie rock. His single “You and the Sea”—part of the 2022 EP Sea—showcases mellow vocals over breezy chord progressions and streams on every major platform. Live, he shifts seamlessly from Pink Floyd and Donavon Frankenreiter covers to originals like “Riding the Ocean,” layered with loop-pedal harmonies. Regular Monday “Sunset Sessions” at Beach House Marbella and private wedding sets across Andalucía have made him a sought-after soundtrack for barefoot celebrations. Off-stage he posts sun-drenched reels, paddles out for dawn surf, and shares father-daughter adventures that echo his life mantra: “Music is the best way to spread joy.”
