Born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), Gonzalo Alhambra is a self-taught guitarist-composer whose music draws on flamenco roots and contemporary Latin pop. He burst onto the national scene in 2020 on The Voice Spain, when all four celebrity coaches turned for his rendition of Rosalía’s “Pienso en tu mirá.” Backed by Concert Music Entertainment, he released his first studio album Uno in 2022 – eleven tracks spanning ballads, rumba and southern pop produced by Manuel Casado. Recent singles such as “Lo demás me sobra,” “Desde que tú no estás” (with Salistre) and “Tan Wapa” (with El Duende Callejero) have garnered millions of streams and cemented his place in Spain’s new wave of pop-flamenco artists.
