About
📍 Born as a parish association in the Leganitos neighborhood, the Brotherhood opened its doors to young people with the aim of living and spreading the Christian faith through devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was officially established as a canonical brotherhood in September 2023. ⛪ Although it belongs to the Parish of Our Lady of La Encarnación, its sacred images are venerated throughout the year in a street chapel located in Plaza José Antonio Pérez Cervera, a unique open-air prayer spot in the heart of the old town. 🕊️ The Brotherhood carries out its procession every Holy Week, on Passion Saturday, walking through the streets of central Marbella from its canonical seat. 🎽 Its nazarenes wear peacock blue robes with white hood and sash, creating a distinctive and solemn image during the penance station. 🎺 The procession begins with a band of bugles and drums, announcing the Virgin’s arrival. A music band follows, accompanying the Virgin’s paso with traditional processional marches. 👥 The Brotherhood maintains an active presence on social media and has a dedicated youth group that promotes charitable and religious activities throughout the year.
