About Hermandad y Cofradía del Cristo del Amor
🔥 Royal and Ancient brotherhood devoted to the Most Holy Christ of Love, Our Lady of Charity and St. John the Evangelist. 📍 Based at Marbella’s Church of the Incarnation, it is a pillar of the city’s Holy Week. 🗓️ It marches every Holy Thursday, filling downtown Marbella with penitents, mantillas and heartfelt devotion. 🪵 The Christ image (1989) was carved by Juan Manuel Miñarro; the throne by Francisco Palma Burgos and later restored by Rafael Ruiz Liébana. 👣 Around 150 penitents and 60 throne bearers take part, backed by processional bands. 💗 Year-round charity actions and parish activities keep its mission alive beyond Holy Week.
