Nya de la Rubia

Born in Seville’s emblematic Triana district, Nya started writing songs at 17 and moved to Madrid at 19 to hone her craft in music and acting. Her self-titled debut album, produced by Paco Ortega, blended flamenco, soul and rap, laying the foundations of her signature sound. Television brought her nationwide recognition as civil-guard agent Lola Requena in Mar de Plástico, for which she also wrote the theme song “Ya no puedo más”. Film roles (Toro, 2016) and the music-show Somos Música on Canal Sur soon followed, where she performs alongside Spain’s top artists. Musically, her EP Raíces explored flamenco-urban fusion before the full album Puro (2024) landed on Apple Music and Spotify editorial lists. In 2025 she returned with feel-good singles “Cómo te va?” and “Lokita mía”, surpassing one million streams within weeks and confirming her status as a cutting-edge “flamenco 3.0” artist.
