Waterpolo Marbella

Established in 2007, Club Waterpolo Marbella (CW Marbella) is the Costa del Sol’s flagship water-polo academy and competition hub. From its base at the Piscina Municipal on Avenida General López Domínguez, the club coaches more than 180 athletes across six categories—Benjamín to Absoluto—plus a “Level 0” water-confidence school for children as young as four. CW Marbella hosts two headline tournaments: TEWAM, the peninsula’s premier U-12 European mixed event with 16 national and international squads, and Beach Paradise, a summer showcase played in the Mediterranean just metres from Marbella’s paseo marítimo, regularly visited by Spanish national-team stars. Beyond elite competition, the club partners with local schools for introductory clinics, promoting teamwork, health and Marbella as a sports-tourism destination.
