Z.E.L.O

Born in the rehearsal spaces of Spain’s Costa del Sol, Z.E.L.O emerged in 2021 when the Butureira sisters channelled their “celo” —sheer musical heat— into a band. Their signature blend welds Seattle-grunge rawness to Spanish post-punk edge and indie sheen. They made their live debut at Madrid’s Sala Juglar in 2023, premiering the single Juego de Mentiras and leaving a trail of sweat-soaked converts behind. 2024 saw the release of La Caída, a self-produced track that crystallised their gritty yet melodic style. The momentum continues in 2025: Z.E.L.O will share the bill with Break the Senses on 12 July at Premiere Club Marbella, part of the venue’s free summer series. Onstage, expect unfiltered riffs, tight harmonies and constant crowd engagement. The duo’s stated mission is to ignite every Andalusian stage before tackling the national festival circuit.
