🎼 Young conductors on the podium On Saturday 29 November at 8:00 p.m., the prestigious Sala Fundación Unicaja María Cristina hosts the charity closing concert of the ELCAMM Orchestral Conducting Masterclass, directed by maestro Miguel Romea. After several intensive training days, the students will step onto the podium to conduct a live string orchestra and put their learning into practice. 🎻 String orchestra repertoire The programme focuses on great European music for strings: Serenade in E minor – Edward Elgar Holberg Suite – Edvard Grieg Serenade for Strings – Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky This concert offers a special chance to hear how different young conductors shape the same pieces in their own way. 💜 Music with a purpose The event is a charity concert, with part of the proceeds going to Asociación Deméter por la Igualdad, an organisation supporting children affected by gender-based violence – turning a night of beautiful music into real social impact.
