A contemporary-flamenco solo by Sara Jiménez where myth and poetry make life and death converse.
🎭 Poetic flamenco. Ave de Plata by Sara Jiménez draws on a Fernando Pessoa verse: through the bird/taming metaphor it contemplates death/rebirth, love as a regenerative force and a celebration of life—here in an outdoor version for TodoDanza’s street-dance route. 🎶 Hybrid language. The work fuses flamenco with contemporary dance and sound (with Miguel Marín ‘Árbol’ credited in the theatre version), crafting an intimate, physical ritual that reaches audiences without words. 👤 About the artist. Granada-born dancer/choreographer, Jiménez trained at Conservatorio Reina Sofía and the Centro Andaluz de Danza (Blanca Li). Her catalogue includes Fandango18, Vía Bamba and Tápate niña. Ave de Plata has toured across Spain and abroad. 📍 In Marbella (TodoDanza, street dance). Paseo de la Alameda, Sun 5 Oct, 6:30 PM.
