An emotional blend of dance-therapy, flamenco flair and live percussion hits Marbella on 27 July. Guided by therapist-choreographer Inmaculada Chacón and talented dancer Miriam Pavón, “Dance & Flame” invites every body to move for a cause, with all proceeds supporting the Manos Unidas “Campaign Against Hunger”. 🔥💃🎶
Set beneath the Andalusian stars in Marbella’s historic José Pernía Calderón Auditorium, this 90-minute gala showcases the healing power of movement. Chacón—municipal dance-therapy instructor in Estepona for people of all abilities—mixes rhythmic gypsy steps, gentle stretching and expressive choreography proven to boost body-mind integration. Pavón complements the programme with contemporary-flamenco pieces that play with fire imagery, symbolising resilience and transformation. Audience members are invited to stand, clap and even join simple sequences, turning spectators into participants. Every €10 ticket goes directly to Manos Unidas, Spain’s leading faith-based development NGO fighting food insecurity worldwide. Accessible seating, multilingual guidance (ES/EN) and the open-air amphitheatre’s sea-breeze setting make this an inclusive, summer-evening highlight on the Costa del Sol cultural calendar.
