About
Laid out on what was once a private estate, Constitution Park became public in the 1950s and now forms a tranquil pocket between Marbella’s Old Town and the beach promenade. Shady paths weave past Mediterranean flowerbeds to a small observatory, a children’s play area and a kiosk-style café serving ice-cold horchata in summer. Centre-stage is the José Pernía Calderón Auditorium, named after a culture-loving deputy mayor; its limited capacity creates an almost “living-room-under-the-sky” feel for flamenco recitals, jazz nights and charity galas. With its mix of greenery, kid-friendly zones and star-lit shows, the park is a must-visit pause button for beach-goers and culture hunters alike.
