Every Monday, Bulevar Pablo Ráez and the surrounding Las Albarizas area transform into a maze of fabrics, scents, and smiles, drawing both locals and visitors alike. From early morning (09:00), more than 350 stalls display mountains of boho fashion, leather bags, hippy-chic jewelry, and footwear at unbeatable prices. Among the aisles, you’ll find farmers from the Serranía selling sun-ripened tomatoes, organic avocados, and bulk spices, as well as florists with Mediterranean plants and artisans carving olive wood or selling hand-painted ceramics. Popularly known as “El Baratillo,” the market is the largest in the city and one of the most important on the Costa del Sol; many vendors save their best products for this weekly event. The market is located in a residential area; it’s advisable to arrive early and come on foot, by bus, or taxi, as parking can be challenging.
