San Pedro Alcántara Fair 2025

🎆 Festive Opening. On Monday 14th the celebration begins with Giants and Big-Heads Parade (6:00 PM); at 9:00 PM the switching on of the lights and the opening of the fairgrounds with Juanlu Montoya, followed by the opening address by Juanjo Alcántara and the coronation. On Sunday 19th there will be a spectacular fireworks show “Visual Magic” (10:00 PM). 🎭 Street Tradition. Giants and Big-Heads Parade on October 14th (6:00 PM); and on Sunday 19th the mass and procession of San Pedro Alcántara, the Patron Saint, through the town’s main streets. 🌞 Day Fair. Family-friendly atmosphere around the Plaza de la Iglesia (pre-fair gala on Sunday 28th, 12:00 PM with DJ, tango, sevillanas and a pasodoble contest). The Municipal Palenque will host daily gatherings with local dance academies during the week. 🎵 Free Concerts. At the Auditorium, performances by Los Rebeldes, Mojinos Escozíos, finalists of Se llama copla, and the main act Melody (Sun 19th, 11:00 PM). At the Municipal Palenque: Hoffman (The Divo of Song), 80ers, Dúo Arenal, Juanjo Alcántara and a youth party with local DJs. 🎡 Family Attractions. Children’s Day (Wed 15th) with special prices (€2.50 general rides; €3.50 unique rides); children’s show “Los Misterios Mágicos” by Mimosín (Thu 16th, 6:30 PM, Auditorium) with workshops; quiet hours on Thu 16th and Sat 18th; the CECOP will hand out bracelets for people with reduced mobility to get priority access to attractions. 👵 Senior Citizens’ Day. Wed 15th: fellowship lunch at their pavilion for members of the Active Participation Centers I and II, and throughout the week, performances by Se llama copla contestants and choirs (Aires del Sur, La Amistad, etc.). 🚍 How to Get There. La Caridad Fairgrounds — main entrance at Av. del Mediterráneo, 8 (San Pedro Alcántara). In recent editions, bus lines were reinforced and free shuttle services connected the fairgrounds with Marbella and Nueva Andalucía.
