Silent Film & Comedy «Cinetones»

🎬 Silent cinema, comedy and live music On Saturday 29 November at 6:00 p.m., C.A.E. La Alcoholera in San Pedro Alcántara hosts a very special event: Silent Film and Comedy with the company Cinetones, a group of musicians passionate about cinema who create original soundtracks for silent films full of humour and creativity. 🎹 Original scores that play with the images While the films are projected, the musicians perform live compositions and improvisations that interact with every scene, enhancing the emotions and pacing of each story. The result is a unique show where the soundtrack is created in the moment. 🍿 Films in the programme The Pawnshop (Charles Chaplin, 1916) – 25 min. Comedy in which Chaplin works in a pawnshop, dealing with a thief and everyday chaos. An Eastern Westerner (Harold Lloyd, 1920) – 23 min. A reckless young man from New York is sent to his uncle’s ranch and discovers life in the Wild West. The Cameraman’s Revenge (animation, Russia, 1912) – 12 min. Animated comedy where a cameraman cricket takes revenge by filming a beetle and his lover, a dragonfly, and screening the footage in the local cinema. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For all audiences This is a perfect cultural outing for families, introducing children and adults to silent cinema through funny stories, boundless creativity and live music.
