About Royal Hospital of Misericordia - Hospitalillo
Founded in the late 15th century by the Catholic Monarchs and affectionately nicknamed “Hospitalillo”, the Royal Hospital of Mercy was fully restored in 2005, preserving its stone façade and cloistered courtyard while adding contemporary facilities.\n\nToday it hosts Marbella’s UNED distance-learning annex, a public library, town-hall offices and several flexible halls with modern AV equipment. Year-round you’ll find art exhibitions, chamber concerts, lectures and family workshops. It is the perfect meeting point for students, culture lovers and event planners seeking a characterful venue in the very heart of the old town.
