Discover all the events that make Ojen a vibrant and joyful place to be

Ojén is absolutely magical! We attended Castillo del Cante and it was an unforgettable experience. The village has a special charm in the Sierra de las Nieves mountains. The locals are very welcoming and the traditional food is excellent.
We came for the Ojeando Festival and loved it. The atmosphere is perfect for indie music, surrounded by nature. The only downside was parking during the festival, but it's worth taking the bus from Marbella.
Perfect for a family getaway. The children really enjoyed the workshops and activities in the square. La Posada del Ángel is a beautiful boutique hotel. The views from the village are spectacular and the mountain air is very refreshing.
As a Málaga resident, I visit Ojén regularly. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the coastal hustle and bustle. The cultural events are high quality and the village maintains its Andalusian authenticity. Highly recommended for cultural tourism.
We discovered Ojén through TeVienes and it was a pleasant surprise. The typical Andalusian white village with modern events creates a unique combination. The festival organization is excellent and there are options for all musical tastes.
Incredible experience in the heart of Andalusia. The hiking trails through Sierra de las Nieves are spectacular, and returning to the village to enjoy local cuisine is the perfect plan. The evening events create a unique atmosphere in the cobblestone streets.
The village hosts the indie-music Ojeando Festival (11–12 July 2025), and the long-running Castillo del Cante flamenco night featuring Arcángel, Estrella Morente and Miguel Poveda (2 August 2025).
The 50th edition is on 2 August 2025 at Los Llanos School Courtyard.
Yes. Workshops, street markets and daytime gigs run year-round; the TeVienes family calendar publishes kid-friendly options.
Bus M-330 takes 12 min from Marbella (€1–2); a taxi takes 9 min (~€15). From Málaga, take a train to Fuengirola then connect by bus or hire car.
A new underground car-park on Calle Los Llanos will add spaces, yet early arrival or public transport is advised because the old town streets are largely pedestrian.
Check the official Ojén.es site and hubs like tevienes.com for real-time dates, line-ups and ticket links.
La Posada del Ángel boutique hotel (16 rooms around a traditional patio) sells out fast; book early or opt for rural homes in the Sierra de las Nieves park.
Organisers apply Spanish accessibility guidelines: wheelchair viewing areas, adapted restrooms and ramps; always check individual needs with the promoter before purchasing tickets.
