About
Part of Marbella City Council, the Department of Culture oversees cultural policy, lifelong learning and heritage preservation. Based at Plaza de Altamirano 2 (29601 Marbella), its 9 a.m.–2 p.m. offices coordinate: Art & Culture courses for children, adults and seniors. Signature events and festivals, from the Spanish Film Showcase to the Marbella International Opera Festival. Educational concerts and open-air performances that bring classical music and flamenco to schools and the wider public. Heritage projects, such as archaeological digs and restoration of Marbella Castle. The department amplifies its reach online via Instagram (@delegacionculturamarbella), Facebook (/CulturaMarbella), X / Twitter (@marbellacultura) and a dedicated YouTube channel showcasing talks, concerts and promotional videos
