Our Lady of Mount Carmel – Patron Saint of Marbella

The festivities kick off at 6:30 a.m. with a 🌅 Dawn Rosary and an early-morning procession from Encarnación Church to El Cable beach, winding through Trinidad, Salinas and Puente Málaga streets. At 8:00 a.m. an open-air Mass on the sand is celebrated by Mons. José Sánchez Herrera with music from “Los Hermanos Ortigoza” 🎶. The iconic ⛵ Sea Procession departs at 10:00 a.m., as the statue boards a decorated fishing boat and sails to the “Virgen del Carmen” Marina; vessels halt mid-route to honour lost sailors with a floral tribute ⚓🌼. By 11:00 a.m. the image is carried back along the Promenade and Miguel Cano Avenue, escorted by the Ntra.
